The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Using this method in session helps us work together to identify the negative thought patterns that are holding you back from reaching your potential in life by changing them to create new behaviors that will help you reach your goals. It is evidenced based to help manage symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

DBT is an evidenced based method that is very effective in helping you identify the emotions causing you distress and then developing healthy ways for you to cope with them. Many people find this method helpful in their interpersonal relationships so they can learn to respond instead of reacting.

Mindfulness + Motivational Interviewing

Mindfulness: Living with intention while learning the most effective ways to cope so you can feel your best to manage whatever you may experience daily. It teaches you to live in the present moment which can be very effective when you are experiencing sadness, fear, loneliness, and other emotions that are holding you back.

Motivational Interviewing: Collaboration is used to help you identify your goals, whether it be from addictions or managing depression or anxiety. We then work to identify the steps needed to be taken and anything that may be in your way to achieve your goals.

Parts Work + Ego States

This method of therapy helps us to recognize and identify the various parts that each of us encompass. We work together to learn about each part you have, their needs, and the roles they are serving in your life. There is no bad part and we don’t want any part to go away; we want to help and heal each part so the part doesn’t feel like they have to be in control all of the time. It allows your most present day self to live more freely and in control of situations.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Value Work

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is used to help individuals develop a healthier relationship with their thoughts and emotions while moving toward what matters most to them. In sessions, we focus on building awareness of internal experiences, practicing acceptance rather than avoidance, and identifying personal values that can guide meaningful action. ACT helps clients create more psychological flexibility so they can navigate difficult thoughts and feelings while still living in alignment with their values.

Emotion Focused Therapy

Emotion Focused Therapy is used to help individuals explore, understand, and work through their emotional experiences in a deeper and more compassionate way. In sessions, we focus on identifying core emotions, recognizing patterns in how those emotions show up in relationships, and developing new ways of responding to them. EFT helps clients slow down, make sense of their inner emotional world, and build a stronger, more secure relationship with themselves and others. Through this process, clients can experience greater self-awareness, healing, and emotional connection.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

This evidenced based method has been shown to be very effective in helping people overcome symptoms of PTSD and maladaptive behaviors that are keeping them from living their best life. EMDR is a passion of mine as I have seen it help many people find relief from the past and I would love to explore how EMDR may help you towards your goals.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative Therapy is used to help individuals explore the stories they hold about themselves, their relationships, and their life experiences. In sessions, we work to identify patterns in these stories and consider how they may have been shaped by past experiences, relationships, or cultural messages. Narrative therapy creates space to separate the person from the problem and to discover alternative, more empowering stories that highlight strengths, resilience, and preferred ways of being.
